A calm, continuous, and nurturing journey for your pregnancy through to parenthood.
This complete, inclusive care journey offers you continuous, personalised care throughout your pregnancy, birth, and early postnatal days. Designed especially for you if your planning a home birth (though easily adapted for hospital births), this wraparound care journey provides you with a calm, holistic approach so you feel supported, confident, and fully prepared for your birth experience. Your care will be centred on emotional wellbeing, physical health, and empowerment ensuring you feel safe, held, and listened to every step of the way. It also includes external services from other pregnancy and birth professionals so that the journey ahead is mapped out for you and you don't need to think about anything else, instead you can relax, hold space and know that all is taken care of.
Gentle, in-depth care as you prepare for your journey to birth. The whole journey thought out for you so that you don't need to focus on anything except yourself and growing your baby.
Each home visit (approx 2 hours) includes a full wellbeing check for you and your baby, with time to discuss any questions or feelings that may arise.
You will also receive:
* Access to my 'Nurture Path' email series and a free Mindful Pregnancy audiobook
* A complimentary Pregnancy & Newborn photoshoot (arranged with a local photographer to you)
* A 'Birth Confidence' session to help you feel calm, ready and confident about the journey ahead
* Use of entonox (gas & air), plus birth pool hire (liner & kit included)
* Optional blood tests, including 28 and 34 week screening checks (Glucose Test and NIPT test available for an extra charge)
* Regular home visits from booking: every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, then 2-weekly, followed by weekly visits from 36 weeks onwards until you have your baby
* A parent-to-be session for you and your partner, covering feeding, bathing, baby care and more
* Feeding preparation support and a pre-birth consultation with a Lactation Consultant at 34-37 weeks
* Optional hire of a TENS machine and birth sling
* Complimentary birthing ball and personalised pregnancy notes folder
* A Journey to Birth Session, ensuring you feel informed and confident for your upcoming birth
* At 38 weeks you will recieve the expertise of a virtual 1:1 with SlumberWorks Sleep Solutions to discuss preparing for babies sleep patterns, when to think about routines and how to ensure you are also getting the right amount of sleep yourself.
Your care begins with calm, trust, and connection. I’m available by email, phone, text, or whatsapp if you have any questions, need some reassurance or have any concerns or worries.

From 37 weeks, I will be on-call 24/7 for you until your baby arrives.
* Whether you choose to birth at home, in water, or in hospital, I will support you and advocate for your choices, providing evidence-based care and gentle guidance to support you every step of the way.
* For home births, I offer complete wraparound care throughout labour and birth, alongside a second midwife who you will meet in advance (usually around 36 weeks).
* For hospital births, I will remain by your side as your advocate and emotional support, ensuring you feel calm, confident and informed to feel able to make your own care choices.
* After your baby’s arrival, I’ll stay to ensure your golden hour is honoured and protected, to help establish feeding, and to ensure you’re both settled and comfortable before the rest and recovery period begins.
* I’ll visit again the next day to begin your enhanced postnatal care and remain available if you need support in between visits.

Promoting restoration and recovery is my key focus for you, as I hold space with you to offer gentle, 'new beginnings' postnatal care in the first days with your new baby.
This typically includes:
* 3–4 home visits in the first week home, to support you with the transition to bonding with, feeding, and caring for your newborn.
* Newborn assessments (NIPE check and Day 5 heel prick screening) will be offered, ensuring you feel fully informed when it comes to screening tests for your baby.
* You will gain complimentary access to my 'Little Lifesavers' baby first aid digital course, covering basic first aid, how to recognise an unwell baby and safe sleeping.
* A complimentary newborn hamper from TrulyGiftsUK
* Ongoing emotional and physical wellbeing support from myself throughout, including signposting to trusted local and online resources such as perinatal mental health, nutritionists, pelvic health specialists and many more
* A follow-up feeding session (with a Lactation Consultant around day 4–6 postnatal) to work through any feeding challenges if needed.
* A Mummy MOT with a qualified practitioner (based in your area) included as part of your postnatal recovery
* At the end of the first postnatal week, I can offer extended postnatal care options available to cover your fourth trimester up to week 4-6 depending on your needs. These needs can be specific IE feeding (Nurture & Nourish), support following a casarean, and much more, or they can be to continue with support and guidance by your side as you walk through the rest of your postnatal journey.

Testimonial 1
I am incredibly grateful to have had Laura as my Midwife during my pregnancy and birthing experience. She was amazing at creating a welcoming environment that allowed me to feel comfortable and supported always! Throughout my pregnancy at the Midwife appointments Laura took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Her knowledge of maternity care really made the whole experience special!
The support I recieved during labour was incredible. Laura was there every step of the way, providing encouragement and helping me through my severe anxiety and worries of the birth! For my partner also, she was a massive support! After the birth Laura continued to check in on me and my baby, which was so lovely and needed! I highly recommend Laura to anyone wanting a caring and knowledgeable midwife. Her dedication and passion for her work made our experience unforgettable, and we will always be thankful for the role she played in bringing our beautiful baby girl into the world. 🩷
Thank you Laura for eveything you've done Xx

Laura is an amazing Midwife, I couldn't and wouldn't fault her at all she's amazing, kind and caring and very patient. she explains everything with such care and compassion and she has a kind soul and is great at her job. She puts everyone at ease and answers every question you need or want to know. Laura helped me with my conditions and my anxiety and depression she's so patient with you not just as a patient but an an individual, I've never met anyone in a Midwifery team as great as her and I would highly recommend her for anyone whether it be your first, second or even tenth time. I'd choose her any day of the week because she will be the biggest supporter, I couldn't be more grateful to have met her in my lfie, let alone have her through my pregnancy. So thank you Laura for being such a wonderful Midwife, you out do yourself everytime, bringing the upmost respect and care to your patients. I wish you all the best in your endeavours.

Testimonial 3
I was so lucky to have Laura as my Midwife for 2 of my pregnancies, as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my last, she was the only Midwife I wanted looking after me and my baby, she always made me feel comfortable. I had C-Sections for both and she always made me feel instantly calm, she would go beyond what was expected, coming to appointments if my partner couldn't make it, she was always on the end of the phone no matter the time of day, even now 8 months after, we still keep in touch, I'm so grateful she was part of my journey, she will always have a big place in mine and my families heart ❤️ 💙
- Shamera, mum of 3

If the FAQ's below don't answer your questions, please get in touch or book a discovery call with me, which can offer reassurance, clarity and certainty.
Once we have had a discovery call, and you've taken the time to read through my Client Care Agreement, I will email you the link to pay, you can simply click this to book the individual package you require using the 'Pay in Installments' option. This will direct you to the GoCardless website and will prompt you to set up a direct debit for the payment installments for the package you have chosen. If you have any problems with this, don't hesitate to contact me and I can assist you further with this.
To ensure I can continue to provide ongoing Continuity-of-Care to you and your partner throughout birth, a second Midwife will attend to capture times, documentation and help with extra support if needed, this is also to ensure we are meeting our insurance obligations. Please feel re-assured that I will have organised for you to meet the Midwife before the birth to ensure consistent faces are present.
As an Independent Midwife I'm in a really unique position that I can choose how many clients I take on my caseload at one time, this gives me the opportunity to build trusting relationships with a small caseload of women and provide Continuity of Care throughout, ensuring you are always seeing the same Midwife, and then I will be on call for you from 37 weeks and will continue to support you in the postnatal period. I also have the advantage that I am not set to a time limit for appointments so I can give allow for time-rich appointments, in the comfort of your own home, at a time to suit you and your personal circumstances. A NHS midwife can be bound by time restrictions, availability and staffing constraints, so its likely you may see different midwives at different times. I also focus more on the low risk side of pregnancy and birth so my ethos is trying to keep things as intervention free (unless needed) and maintaining that low risk environment as much as possible but always prioritising keeping you and your baby safe.
Pregnancy and birth are unpredictable, and sometimes we aren't sure what is best and that's ok, a lot of thought and support is essential in these situations, you can choose to cease care immediately with me and will only pay for the care recieved unless you are past 36 weeks (as per my client care agreement terms and conditions) or you can continue to benefit from some ongoing support for reflection, coping strategies and navigating what comes next.
